Great theater with a fabulous 3/18 Barton theater organ. Originally the Lyric built in 1911 renamed the Grand Opera House. Destroyed Sept. 4th 1935 due to a nitrate film fire. Rebuilt and operated as the Martin Theater until closing in 1976. City purchased building renovated and reopened in 2003. Long story short, organ donated by John Near, restored by A. E. Schlueter Pipe Organ Co.. Sounds great in a beautiful theater!
